Engineering Notes
Governs which service is used and which attributes are mandatory. Every DICOM object has a SOP Class UID. Mismatched SOP Class UIDs between File Meta and dataset cause SCP rejection.
Troubleshooting
Wrong or missing SOP Class UID causes C-STORE failure (0110 — Processing Failure). Verify conformance statements and that the PACS SCP has the SOP Class negotiated.
