Refund & Cancellation Policy
Last updated: 5 September 2026
Every paid Majware product carries a 30-day, no-questions-asked money-back guarantee. This page explains how to claim it, how delivery works, and who handles your payment.
1. The short version
If a Majware product does not do what you need, email support@majware.com within 30 days of purchase and we will refund you in full. You do not have to justify the request.
We would rather refund you quickly than argue about it. If you tell us what went wrong we will try to fix it, but a refund is never conditional on you doing so.
2. Who processes your payment and your refund
Paddle.com Market Ltd is the merchant of record for all orders placed on majware.com. Paddle handles payment processing, invoicing, tax collection and remittance, subscription management, refunds and billing-related customer enquiries.
This means your payment contract for the transaction is with Paddle.com Market Ltd, and your card or bank statement will show a Paddle descriptor rather than "Majware". Refunds are issued by Paddle to the original payment method.
You can raise a billing or refund enquiry either with us at billing@majware.com or directly with Paddle at https://paddle.net. Both routes reach the same outcome; contacting us is usually faster for licence and product questions, and Paddle is faster for invoices, tax receipts and payment method problems.
Paddle's buyer terms are at paddle.com/legal/terms.
3. 30-day money-back guarantee
Every paid Majware product carries a 30-day money-back guarantee, counted from the date of purchase shown on your Paddle receipt.
The guarantee applies in full even though our products are digital goods delivered immediately, and even if you have already downloaded, installed and activated the software. It is a voluntary commercial guarantee we offer on top of any statutory rights you have — it does not replace or reduce them.
Refunds are for the full amount you paid, including any VAT or sales tax Paddle collected.
4. How to request a refund
Email support@majware.com — or use the contact form — with:
- The email address you used at checkout
- Your Paddle order or receipt number, if you have it to hand
- The product name
That is all we need. A reason is welcome but not required.
We acknowledge every refund request within one business day. Once approved, Paddle issues the refund immediately; the money typically reaches your card or bank within 3–10 business days, depending on your provider. Paddle emails you a credit note when the refund is processed.
5. What happens to your licence after a refund
When a refund is issued, the licence key for that purchase is deactivated and the licence entitlement ends. You must stop using the software and remove it from any machine on which it was activated.
Deactivation is not retroactive punishment — it is simply the other half of the refund. Continuing to use a licensed Majware product after its purchase has been refunded is a breach of the Terms of Service.
6. Limits and exceptions
The guarantee is intended for genuine evaluation. We may decline a refund where:
- The request is made more than 30 days after purchase.
- The same customer has repeatedly bought and refunded the same product, which we treat as use of the software without paying for it rather than evaluation.
- The purchase was made under a separately negotiated agreement — a volume, site or bespoke licence — whose own written terms set out different refund arrangements. Those terms take precedence.
- The refund is requested for a product bought from a third-party store rather than from us (see section 10).
Where we decline a request we will say so in writing and explain why. Declining a voluntary guarantee claim does not affect any statutory right you may have under section 7.
7. Statutory rights (EU, UK and elsewhere)
If you are a consumer in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you normally have a statutory right to withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days.
For digital content supplied immediately, that right ends once supply has begun with your express consent and your acknowledgement that you lose the right of withdrawal. Paddle's checkout collects that consent at the point of purchase.
In practice this does not disadvantage you here: our voluntary 30-day guarantee in section 3 is longer and less conditional than the statutory 14-day right, and we honour it regardless of whether the statutory right still applies.
Nothing in this policy limits your rights in respect of products that are faulty, not as described, or not fit for purpose. Consumers in other jurisdictions retain whatever non-excludable rights their local law provides.
8. Delivery and fulfilment
All Majware products are digital. Nothing is shipped physically and there are no delivery charges.
- Timing — delivery is automatic and immediate. After Paddle confirms payment you receive an order confirmation from Paddle and a separate email from us containing your licence key and download link. This normally arrives within a few minutes.
- If it does not arrive — check your spam folder first, then email support@majware.com. We will re-send your key manually. Non-delivery is never a reason you have to pay for something you cannot use.
- Activation — desktop products require an internet connection once, to activate the licence. They run offline thereafter.
- Access period — perpetual licences do not expire. You keep the version you bought, and any updates within the same major version, indefinitely.
- Re-downloads — if you lose the installer or replace your workstation, email us and we will re-issue the download link and re-activate your licence.
9. Cancellations and subscriptions
Majware products sold through Paddle are currently one-time purchases. There is no recurring charge, no auto-renewal and therefore nothing to cancel — buying once does not create an ongoing payment.
If we introduce a subscription product in future, this policy will be updated to state the cancellation method and notice period before that product goes on sale. You will be able to cancel at any time from the Paddle customer portal linked in your receipt, with cancellation taking effect at the end of the paid period.
Free tools on majware.com require no account, no payment and no cancellation.
10. Products bought from other stores
Some Majware documentation toolkits and older products are sold through our Gumroad storefront at store.majware.com rather than through Paddle. For those purchases the refund is handled by Gumroad under their policy, and their checkout terms apply to the transaction.
Our 30-day commitment is the same in substance either way: email support@majware.com and we will arrange it with the relevant store. Current prices and the merchant handling each product are listed on the pricing page.
11. Chargebacks
Please contact us before raising a chargeback with your bank. A chargeback costs both sides time and fees and takes far longer to resolve than an email — and since we refund on request within 30 days, there is nothing a chargeback achieves that a message would not achieve faster.
Where a chargeback is raised, Paddle manages the dispute as merchant of record and the associated licence is suspended while it is open.
