All series acquired in a single gantry setup should share the same Frame of Reference UID. Enables spatial co-registration between series (e.g., CT + PET fusion).
Troubleshooting
PET/CT or CT/MR fusion failures in the viewer are often caused by different Frame of Reference UIDs when they should match. Verify on multimodality scanners.
